Air in coolant bugga

[B]Sorry if this has been done before bit I've searched till I' blue in the face nuts and *** and I can't find a similar situation
I've got air forceing it's way into the coolant, here's the basic situation
-- bleed out the system- heater on (pain in the ***) all fine , after driving a bit 10 - 20 miles on comes the radiator warning light , --changed the sensor (twice) . the compression tests out fine ,-- no coolant in oil ,-- no oil in coolant ,-- coolant system pressure test 7 hours (overnight) fine,-- radiator cap (new) pressure test 14.7 ,-- plugs show no moisture ,-- no smoke of any colour on start up or whilst running- even a bit hard , dosn't use any water atall ,-- in 4kin fact every 4kin thing checks out fine and the car starts and runs great .
So my question is WTF is the air coming from, basically how many places does the coolant and air pressure share close proximity or gaskets , I've studied the manual till my eyes are popin' out and I can't figure it out unless its something like the BAC where I have no idea of its internals.

can anyone give me any pointers, Please , not so cheers ATM, Al .

Oh yup, the car is a ver 5 Rx7 turbo auto with p/steer, ABS & aircon.

I'm betting that you have a pinhole in the hose that leads from the pressure cap to the overflow tank.

Had the same problem. I had the heater hose split on me, and had to bleed out the system. In my situation, it wasn't air getting into the coolant, or loosing coolant anywhere. Air bubbles trap themselves in the top of the radiator for some reason and the tip of the sensor isn't grounding out with the coolant. take the sensor completely out, and open the radiator cap just enough so that coolant starts to exit the hole. Put the cap back on and reinsert the sensor. Haven't had a problem since.
