air control valve plug??

air control valve plug??

im pretty sure its the air control valve. its connectected to the intake manifold. anyway i looked in my manual and searched here but no luck. so my question is where does the plug to that connect to, its about a a foot long and has a white connector. i cant find anywhere to connect it. please help thaaaaanks

Is there anything wrong with the car? Can you post a pic? There are plugs/connectors that are left unplugged on the rx7.

well i dont have a camera but it was connected to something before cause i remember having to take it off so i could remove my intake manifold and there was something wrong with the car but it should be fixed i just put everything back together except that plug and i need coolant so tomorrow ill know if it runs or not lol

I just got rid of mine. Installed a block-off plate and never looked back. But, if you really want to keep it, I believe the plugs are under the intake tube, next to the alternator, on the same harness branch as the TPS plug (it's been a while since I actually had an ACV, but I think that's right)

It could be one of the two plugs for the ACV. Both have 2 wires, and will be either black or white. They stem from the section of the harness that runs behind the water pump housing, and connect to the split air and port air solenoids on the ACV itself.
