Jesus, what a mess!
Have you posted in your regional forum to see if someone can drop by and help you sort things out?
0004 looks like an injector connector. And your temp thingy in the coolant filler neck needs to be connected (it's broken off.)
I don't know much about TIIs, but I wish I was down there to lend a hand...

You need to fix that CAS wiring, that's probably why you're not getting any spark (if it's shorting out) That big red plug is either the water thermo sensor, or for your alternator, one of the two.
hey, good news, I got it to start by wiggling the bare metal connector, but it died after like a second of starting, I tried to use the throttle to put the rpms back up but it wouldn't go, then I remembered my vacuum leaks and fixed them, now the car is flooded, I unflooded it (or atleast tried) by pulling the plug in the rear speaker well and cranking it. It wont start right now, I am recharging the battery, how would I plug the injector plug back on, or where would it go? I thought those were on the back of the engine.
Thanks for all the help.

First off you need to either A) solder the CAS wires (or at the very least, tape them up so they're not bouncing off each other) I'm still willing to bet $10 that's not an injector, the injectors wiring doesn't come from that direction that and the injector wiring doesn't look like that.
Yeah, I'm going to solder the wires, I didn't want do do anything with the wiring until I made sure it was right.
Damn, I couldn't beleive it was only one wire that cause no fuel or spark.

Man, the previous owner really screwed up this car, I was looking for the injector and I notice two wires that were just cut in half. I'm going to do a compression test on the motor and if its good, I'll buy a used decent condition harness, if bad, definately going to get rid of the car.

Say hello to your air bypass solenoid valve (page 4-48 of the s4 FSM.) I think it only participates in the warm-up cycle... It would be best to have an intact, working one, of course.
Here is a thread with some pictures of the car

The reason I would dump it because of a bad engine is the inside electrical, like the idiot lights and the interior lights don't work. The the interior is kinda beat up. Like not the kinda of car you would want to take your girl out in.

Possible cheap Fix!
I posted this yesterday because I havent seen it on any site. But the problem I had was the main relay causing no spark! If looking over the coils on the drive side its to the right of the coils on the inner fender well. Everyone tried to tell me I needed coils, crank angle sensor and whatever else. It turned out to be a $40 fix!
