Hey Rico, don't give up man!! I just read through all 4 pages of this thread and you've got us all behind you. I wanna see that car running when I come home in a couple of months (that's plenty of time, get to work!)

Edit: Damn, I just made it the 5th page....5 pages in 2 days, don't see that very often

Jimmy, and all who seem to think I am taking this lightly, I have recently been kiced out of my house. I am LITERALLY living on the good graces of my friends. I have literally $0.00 in my checking account. I have to figure out how to pay for college, so my car running is the least of my worries right now. I will do the comp test, but if it is dead, I will be getting rid of it. I have no where to work on, or leave a non running car. If a car sits for more than a week, the city I live in can ticket it, seeing as I am now stawing in a duplex. I am in a jamb, and while my car IS important, I am in way over my head. Thanks for the support, but I am just ready for the worst...

......

Read this one more time before I reply and try and find out what youre thinking wrong here.

Ill wait

Find it yet?

No? Well Ill tell you :P
If you lose an apex seal, you DO lose compression on two rotor faces ... BUT ... if you were to pull a plug, or listen to it from the exhaust, you would still hear swoosh, swoosh, pause ...

Know why?

Because those two remaining seals would still make noise as they pass over the plug hole or exhaust port.

Even with no apex seals in the rotor, Im sure you could still hear a swoosh of some sort...Though it would be a very weak one.

Well, rico, I'm in the same boat as you, tired of it. Hopefully there's still a chance for your car, mine I really don't even care to see run or work on anymore.

Man, you guys are too down. You need a beater. I have a beater, and it keeps me getting around. I blew the engine in my car before I even got it licensed. How retarded is that? Ill never give up on the car though, cause the few moments I drove it were great. Had it over a year, but im still beater'in around, and saving pennies to buy things for it. This time im going to eliminate the problems before I install the engine. I guess Im just trying to say have some patience.
