AHHH The choices one must make.

Ok by now if you dont know about my 88 GTU and the scam and then the not being able to sell and the trying to keep. It is an endless cycle I try to get rid of it but as soon as I find a buyer I wanna keep it. But then I cant find a motor for the cheap.

Ok so here is my ordeal this time. I can do one of three things. 1. Trade the fb and starion for a S4 vert and then sell the GTU to upgrade the vert. 2. Trade off one of the cars (FB or Starion) for a motor to put back in the GTU. 3. Sell the GTU and the Starion and upgrade the FB some more.

I am very split in my desicion this time there are so many possiblietes. I have never seen a vert in West Virginiaso it would be kinda cool and I hear that they are about as stiff in the suspension as the coupe because of strengting in the frame. Correct me if I am wrong. But this extra strentgh would also cause more wieght and slow me down some. Dont get me wrong I want a vert I am just not sure if it is the way to go right now.

Now I can abandon the vert and try to trade for a motor for the GTU. I dont really want anything fancy just a good motor and my attemts at this have been futile so far. I love my GTU to death and i want to keep it but I am afraid that even if I put a motor in it Something might happen and I would be back in the same position I am now. The motor that I had in it was mildly ported smoked like a frieght train and it didnt go down the road very strait. well the only thing I fixed was the tracking in the rear end so now it would drive strait.

If there was someway I could trade off the FB and the starion for a complete T2 drivetrain then I would make it a GTU2 probably with a FMIC which I have laying around somewhere that way it would just look like a GTU. Althought the possiblites of this are slim to none

Then there is the last option is t sell starion and GTU and put more money into the FB.

Ok to make this whole thing relevant to this section It must be A ? So here it goes.

A vert is cool looking but after everything is said and done which would drive better and be the better investment, I must drive the car daily but only about 5miles. Also I looked in the FAQs and the only info I found on verts were the specs, I was wondering if I could learn some more about them through you guys and your experinces. I dont want to make another mistake. So many projects taken on but only a handful have been sucessful just ask DDub114 about all the plans I talk about but never get to do. I bet he is kinda tired of hearing them all LOL.

Thanks for the help you guys. Your awsome in advance

If it were me, I would get a motor for your current car through some means. If you really like convertables, I say sell some of the cars and get a vert. They are heavier, though.

Damn dude, how many cars do you need? haha

If I was in your position I'd be happier with fewer cars that run than four that don't. Trade em all for the vert if you like verts, but a NICE one.

hmm I wish there was a way to do both that would be awsome. But right now I am leaning towards finding a motor for trade. I know my car in and out every little thing was nitpicked by me. It may not be pretty but its mine and It was accually the first car I ever drove that I was comfortable in. I am 6ft 2 230lbs and its kinda hard to find a car that fits if you know what I mean. I know a vert has the same seats and such but I just dont think it would feel the same. So if you guys know anyone that has a good motor and harness that wants a car let me know.

I think I am gonna take some pics of my car tomorrow. I love my RX7 I will never sell it.
