Aftermarket TII downpipe on turbo vert

Alright, so I just wanted to run this by anyone who has done a TII conversion on their vert. I know the Racingbeat NA downpipe (stock exhaust manifold to cat/silencer) is too short to properly bolt up to the stock cat location on a vert. I had to weld in ~3-4" of steel pipe to make it the right length on my car. So, what I'm wondering is if a TII downpipe from Racingbeat or another aftermarket source will also be too short since apparently the exhaust hangers sit differently in coupes and verts.

The odd part is my NA downpipe is the "convertible only" one, yet it still doesn't fit right. I can only guess that RB sent me the wrong one or someone got mixed up when they cut the pipe to length.

Did anyone who swapped their vert have any trouble using an aftermarket TII DP? I can always cut/weld it to fit, but it'd be nice to know ahead of time.

Edit: The DP will be bolted to a Corksport resonator/silencer which is the exact length of the stock main cat (17.5").

I did a JDM S5 swap, but while getting the engine I picked up a RB REV exhaust with a presilincer. I have no E-check where I live so I picked up the presilencer. I had the RB N/A vert exhaust with presilencer on before the swap. I'm almost positive all the hangers and mount points are the same for the N/A and turbo exhausts. The N/A RB exhaust is now on my fathers vert and so far as I can remember all the hangers matched on his car also.

Thanks for the input. I think I answered my own question though. RB's description for the convertible downpipe now mentions that it requires their presilencer to work, which is about 3 inches longer than the stock main cat. Back when I bought the NA downpipe years ago, it didn't mention it.

I was also wondering about the clearance of the extra bracing on the underside of a vert, but it sounds like you didn't have any issues with it hitting anything.

I'll probably just extend an RB downpipe or use one from corksport. It's $40 more, but it's actually made to fit the stock cat since their presilencers are the standard 17.5" length.

Yeah, me too. I have full TII racing beat exhaust on my vert, no modification whatsoever.
