Afterburner sound at 80-85ish MPH?
I have my 86 GXL NA that i was able to put back on the streets after a bit of work.. the major problem i have with it now is that after about 40 mph, it starts to shake and vibrate... it gets slightly worse the faster you go, but the real fun is when you hit about 80.. there's an EXTREMELY loud sound, it appears to come from the rear of the vehicle.. it sounds like the car forgot it had mufflers. Once you hit about 87-90ish it resumes it's normal vibration noises.. Now, a friend of mine recommended that i look at the rear struts and replace the rubber sections of the engine mounts, and that should take care of the vibration, i'm just wondering if it will indeed fix most of the vibration and the loud sound? It's a fun car, and it'll be a pretty sweet ride if i can bear to sit in it w/o my *** falling asleep
Thanks!

*old man voice* Back in my day, when i first got on the net, a infoseek search (the cool search engine of the time) for Wonko The Sane only turned up 3 refs, one was my old homepage and two were douglas adams refrences! </end oldmanvoice>
Gene - you think that would cause the vibrations? I guess it sounds plausible
Thanks!
