(Steps onto Soap Box)
Ok, there are several orientations here.
!. Mod for Show.
- Flashing light sterio head units, lights in the wheel wells, 18 inch chrome wheels.
2. Mod for Go.
- Bigger Turbo's, street port, etc. etc.
3. Mod for Show and Go.
- All of the above
4. Mod to update features we wish were factory.
- Keep it understated. One touch power windows, CD changer wired directly into the factory head unit, T2 retro-fit into Vert (All verts should have been T2), correct all those nasty cold solder joints, etc.
5. Restore to maintain to stock, stock, stock.
-The purest among us that like it just the way it is. But, still correcting those nasty cold solder joints.
Me, I'm a little bit of all of the above.
Lets face it. We do things to our RX7's to reflect who we are, not unlike how we choose the clothes we wear.
Some people dress outragous, some people dress conservative, some people dress with style. Same goes for how we make changes to our cars.
Point is, we are on this Forum because we love our RX7's, not to just discuss performance mods.
We believe the superior engine is a Wankle and that Piston engines are best used for Farming Equipment.
We know that just about anything we are thinking about doing has already been done by someone. So we come here to learn from their experiences.
And, most of all, we come here because this is the BEST DAMN RX7 SITE ON THE WEB!!!!!
So, in the famous words of Rodney King:
"Why can't we all just get along?
Sheesh.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Oh Hozz, I think you hit it on the head... all except:
Which I completely believe that the first part is indeed true, while the second section of that; we can only dream is true.
We know that just about anything we are thinking about doing has already been done by someone. So we come here to learn from their experiences.

An overall nice approach, but I dont think that anyone that dresses outrageously should be allowed to perform the same "actions" on a car, much less an RX7. If he/she wants to "destroy" a Fiat or a Ford (which you can find a dime a dozen), then go right ahead, but not to a car that is so precious and limited... There are not too many still out there you know...
