after market wheels ?

Ok..I have the opportunity to purchase Enkei RSF2's used for $350 with tires. They are 17x8 and the bolt pattern is 5x114. I'm currently waiting to see what kind of offset they have but do you all think these would work on my Turbo 2? What would be the beneficial offset for my car? I just dont wanna pass up this opportunity for some decent aftermarket wheel. Thanks!

What did they come off of?
+25 to +35 would be nice on the offset for the fronts.

I'm pretty sure +35 all the way around should fit fine. +35 in the front sits very flush against the fender. I have Enkei RPM2s 17x8 in the front (+35) and 17x9 in the rear (+40).

Sounds like a great deal, make sure you get quality up close pics of them. I payed 400 for my oem FD rims + tires and I love them, they are like, mint. I would buy them Enkeis if they'll fit on your car.

Ok guys found out the offset on these are +35 all around. The only thing the tires are 225 40 17 so do you think these would be ok till I got the opportunity to get new tires? Also would there be any problem fitting different tires on these wheels?

That's fine.
They are going to be slightly small - 225/45/17 is the "ideal" size to match the stock 205/55/16 - but they should be okay.
Ride may be a bit harsh, but I'm sure you won't mind.

So what would be the best tire size for these wheels if you dont mind me asking? Isn't it obvious I dont know anything about wheels/tires?

Talking

You could probably just ask the guy whos selling them that...or even just look at the tires on the rims already. I didnt know u could fit more than one size tire on a given rim....

Now if you wanna get a really nasty wheel set up on an FC, you could do what I did... cram 18x8" (front) and 18x10" (rear) JDM RacingHart C2's on with some spacers. Man that looks bitchin. : )

I'd go 225/45/17 on a 17x8 wheel...

I agree. 225's are the way to go on an 8J rim. I have 235's on the front 8J rims and there is a little bit of sidewall bow. Tires where on the rims when I bought them. I will put 225's on the front next time.
