After Market injectors

Curious to see what kind and size of aftermarket injectors the turbo guys run, and how much of a market there is..

Common stock sizes are the GSL-SE's 680CC.

Then you get to aftermarket. Anything 720CC and above with common values being 720CC, 850CC, 1000CC, 1680CC. Sometimes a bit larger.

Here's some nice to know/ fact about so-named "GSL-SE 680cc" injectors (courtesy of "renns")
"FSM says GSL-SE injectors flow 173 cc/15 seconds at 39.7 psi, or 692 cc/min. Multiply this flow by sqrt(43.5/39.7) to get nominal flow at standard 43.5 psi(3 bar) test fuel pressure = 724 cc/min."

I've seen enough posts confirming these things flowing more then 700cc's @ 3 bar. Actually if you look at witch hunter performance's website ,they have higher flow rates listed for these denso"195500 0900" then the blue top "greddy 720's" i.e. denso "195500 0830".
So it's kind of funny reading post's of people that don't want to use the so-called 680's over the 720's.

Anyone who is upgrading turbos or upping boost will need to upgrade injectors.

But if you are considering selling them, there are already a million sources.

Nothing Mazda used is larger then what is used in the RX-7s. The biggest injector Mazda put on an RX-7 are the secondaries in an FD; 850CC.

The RX-7s use HUGE injectors for an OEM application. There aren't really any other OEM injectors that you can swap for higher fuel flow besides the 1680CC natural gas injectors used in some Fords.

Also, based on your signature your car is an NA anyway, so you don't need more fuel.

This summer I had a set tested at 3 bar. I think the flow numbers were close to 1000CC. Based on how much fuel I had to cut out of the map compared to stock 550s, I'd say that calling these injectors "800CC" is probably most accurate.
