afm,cat,oil???

ok help me guys and girls. what do u think this is. ok im plannin to run my car at the track so i take my exhuast off and gutted all my cats. i got almost everything out besides that little ring that was in the main can. it just jiggled around. so i put it back on and i had the worst leak ever. so i get all new tubin ran to the stock muffler cause the money ran out. but they kept the factory main cat. i was drivin down the road that night and it seemed ok. i relined it a couple times in neutral and all and it popped pretty good. the car was slowly flooding out that whole week. so the next morning i go and start the car up it takes forever and it runs like a dam 2 stroke. sounds kinda nasty. like the exhuast is clogged but i can fill some exhuast come threw. it doesnt drive the same seems slower. and it wont idle by itself. if i take my foot off the gas it will die. it is like a bitch to keep between 1,000 and 1500. i checked the oil filler neck and when i cut the car off. i couild see fumes come threw the neck. there was some kinda mixture. i think its gas. it has a fresh rebuilt motor with about 2100 miles on it. so i go get my oil changed and a brand new cat put on it. what do u think this could be guys?? sorry about the long post

So your car has a cat, or not?

If it does, it sounds like it has clogged.

If not, get a compression test done.
