advice on this TII
I went to look at a TII for sale today and I wanted to ask you guys about some things my buddy and I noticed. First off, about the car; the guy replaced a bunch of stuff (can't think of it all off hand), and hasn't driven the car that much, although he has changed the oil often and drove it every once in a while.
What we noticed was that the gas pedal was a little stiff, and that there seemed to be less power than my friends TII. The car had the fuel pump replaced a couple days ago and I've heard of there being a break-in period so that could be it. And the car isn't driven that often so there might also be carbon buildup. Lastly my friends TII could have mods he doesn't know about from the guy he bought it from.
The compression was tested 20 or so thousand miles ago and it was fine. What do you guys think?

if u like the car, and the price is right, buy it... if u have a competant rotary mechanic in ur area, have them check it out before u buy it... and if he tells u its ok, then buy it... u didn't give a whole lot of info for people on the forums to go on in ur post... kinda hard to help u make a decision without much info

I don't really know what else to tell you...
its an 88, when I drove it the gas pedal just seemed really stiff. When my buddy drove it, then drove his TII he said he noticed a difference in power, that his seemed faster. I don't know much about rotaries yet so bare with me, what other info would help?
by the way im gettin the car for 2000 and its in immaculate condition with a **** load of replaced parts, he also relocated the stock intercooler to the front.

Do me a favor, if you don't buy it give me the info on the car!
Seriously though:
Wilkes Barre is only 20 minutes from where I live. If you want another opinion, I'd be glad to look it over with you.
