Car stuck in gear
My car is a 1987 TII.
I have not been driving the car for the past 6 months because it is not registered. But I start the car once a week and let it warm up, and then I shut it off.
The last time I started the car was 4 days ago. Today I got a ticket on my windshield b/c of having it parked on my street w/o it having current registration.
So my mom said I could take her garage spot for a while until I get it registered.
So me and my buddy go to push the car into the garage (didn't want to start it cause its too loud, and it was night time) I take off the e-brake and put it in neutral but it wont budge. I then try to start it but it just lunges forward when I turn the key like its in gear even with the clutch depressed.
My clutch pedal also has no resistance. When I push it in it sticks to the floor. To get it back up I have to put my foot under it and pull it back.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Tim

So you can only lift the clutch with your foot?
Slave cylinder is shot..
You either need to bleed the clutch, or replace the slave cylinder. Bleed the clutch first, if that doesn't help you need to replace the cylinder.
