Whats the first thing I should do to my car, if anything, that is under $1200 bucks?

Y'all prolly get all kinds of posts like this, and I've very new, so any advice would be great.

I would say replacing the factory air box with a cold air intake and exhaust

 

make sure it is in real good running/driving order first. its could be hard to see the money you spend on mods if your car cant react to them.

 

I agree, I bought a TII with those mods already on it, and I've spent alot of time now making sure everything else was working properly, replacing this and that. I often wish it had been bone stock when it came into my hands. Of course, with a turbo, adding the exhaust/intake have a bit more ramifications to deal with as well.

 

Do a full tune up... spark plugs/wires, any coolant hoses that are in bad shape, fuel filter, etc
