if i try and drive my car at WOT the check engine light will come on and the car will have almost no power. pretty sure its putting itsself into limp mode(i think its called) but if i just ease into the throttle it will run fine......any ideas as to whats causing this?

 

check the codes and see... the computer will tell you what is wrong

 

i tried checking the codes..... according to http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/codes.html
nothing happened.......maybe i did it wrong, ill try it again though
unless theres another way to do it
