Question Adjustment screw, what is it for?

I know where my idle adjustment screw is on my BAC valve for my 87 TII...but there is this other one, behind my Intercooler right next to a throttle cable near/against the firewall. What's that ONE for?

Its the AIR SUPPLY VALVE used during power steering operation and hot starting. The manual has a statement about that screw *DO NOT TAMPER THE ADJUST SCREW.*. When sold new it had a plastic cover over the screw. If its off someone has been playing with it. I say have a go at it and see what happens, just remember the original setting. There is a resistance check in the manual but no instructions on how to adjust. Download the manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com and go to section 4B. Thats where you find the total lack of instructions for setting the valve.

Thumbs down

I played with it already, cranked the screw all the way out and then all the way back in and then set it in between. I thought it might do something for my idle, but it didn't. Hope I didn't mess it up too much!
