Adjusting wheel camber.

My pass side wheel is wearing on the inside pretty badl All other tires wear perfectly. I'd like to adjust the camber but don't know what suspension parts I need to adjust to do this? I already have the bubble tool used to measure camber. I just need to know what to adjust to bring the bottom of the wheel in and top out.

Thanks...

The car was hit on the front pass side. I replaced the strut with a junkyard unit. The car sits level and was aligned before the accident. I need to add neg camber to the front pass side wheel. Are these the adjustment bolts? Do I adjust the tie rod? Ball joint is new as well.

(this is just a google pic not my actual strut)

you know, i understand you are not one of the 3 FC owners that have money.... but why not just get it aligned again? the bolts you are looking at holds the struts on.... so no, they are not the adjustment bolts...

Don't like taking my car into shops. I know how to measure camber and I have to tools to do it. I'd just like to do it for myself I guess. I was just looking at this article. http://www.rallysportmag.com/cms/A_100402/article.html

It is talking about those 2 bolts being camber bolts? Anyway I'm sure if I look at it long enough I'll figure it out. I just wanted a definate answer for peace of mind.

The 89+ FSM (Section 13) has instructions for aligning the the front end of the RX-7... I assume that its similar to the 86-88 cars, although I can't seem to locate the corresponding section in the 86-88 FSM... (in the case of the 89+ cars, the camber is adjusted by rotating the top strut mounting plate...)

Both Factory Shop Manuals can be found here:

if it was hit, turning shock tower might not be enought to get desired camber
those camber bolts could help and are cheap trick to try....

Well, that answers my questions. Thanks alot I'll make sure to keep those links handy. I'm not sure how rotating the mounting block will change the camber of the wheel but I'll look into it this weekend.

Yea I know it's over kill. But it was cheap and local at the time. Eventualy plan to get a GXL alum hood for the sleeper effect.

The mounting block is slightly eccentric, so that rotating it moves the top of the strut shaft in or out depending on the direction of rotation... ...not good for huge camber changes, but it may be enough
