Adjustable shocks settings

This weekend I installed my KYB AGX shocks and Eibach springs. Handling is much improved since I had 1 blown shock and one half blown shock. The shocks are 4-way adjustable up front, and 8-way in back. Right now I have the fronts at 3 and backs at 6.

Now I was wondering what would the best setting be for overall balance and handling? More in front? More in rear? Im a suspension newb.

Suspension topics are discussed more fluently in the race car tech and suspension / wheels / tires forums, but I have read a little abou the whys of adjustable shocks. One purpose of adjustability is to dial out oversteer or understeer. If the car pushes in turns, loosen up the front and stiffen up the back (shocks), and if it oversteers, stiffen up the front and loosen the back. You can also set the shocks on stiff for a track event and on loose for daily driving, then find the best compromise stiffness for best course adhesion when doing autocross or road racing.

Suspension knowlege is fascinating. There are some really good faqs in the suspension forum.
