I'm reading over on BITOG and since our filters are top mount there is some talk that the ADBV may be essential to us. They say chances are it has one, but if your pressure lags in the morning you may want to check into it.

 

Wow, lots of acronyms...

This really should be a non-issue, since most (if not all) of the brand-name oil filters all have anti-drain back valves on them.
