your profile shows you have a 90 N/a S5

if you do and this is the car you are talking about then you will need to keep them or find another way to actuate the auxilary ports if you want to remove them. If you have an S4 car then you may remove them as long as you have no cats or they will clog.

Yes it will. The 5th and 6th ports and VDI will not open up. Although you can wire them open, that's what I did.

Why doesn't every body just take the auxilary port sleeves out???

And there is a write up on the web about taking the ACV off of an S5, I come across it every time a do a search on google, about 5th and 6th ports.

Removing the auxilary ports will result in a loss of torque and you will basically gain notihing since you are only making them work as they usually would by openin up. That I am aware of there are no block off "kits" Some poeple also have bad gas mileage after doing something like this. The auxilary ports are there for a reason and should be left operational for those reasons. IF you don't care about our already low power down low becoming smaller do it. I would not tho...

P.S. I suggest you search for an alternate method of actuating the auxilary ports.

how big of a loss is it down low? My biggest complaint/reason for wanting to do this is that the air pump bracket keeps cracking! 3 so far and they are $$$ (the aluminum 3bolt bracket)

I'm giving one of those things away, I have another one to sell to you if you want it And it they are cracking on you it is because you are over tentioning hte belt. It just needs to be tight enough so it doesn't slip.

And I have heard people say that they didn't notice any difference, and others that say they noticed a huge difference, and they hated it. But I have no real experiance with them taken off. And also if you want block off plates for the actuators and ACV, I can make them for you.
