Actuator removal

I have the actuator removed but, how do you remove the flapper door that the actuator was attached to?

WTF are you talking about?????

The twin scroll actuator on an s4???? You take a dremel tool and cut the bitch off inside the housing and then weld a bolt in the hole from the outside

If you don't have the time right now to do the above, then I'd suggest re-installing the actuator without the vacuum line. The actuator keeps the *flap* spring loaded to the OPEN position.

ditto, i did this on mine and works just fine. cut the bushing a little shorter than the bore and double nut a case hardened bolt with washers and weld the double nuts to the bolt.

If you're going to leave it in, why not make it work the way it's supposed to?
