actuater location

Question actuater location

took some pics, yeah i searched , found a diagram, but i need to confirm. i dont think this is one of the actuaters, i think mine are stuck, but i wanna know if it is my actuater before i try and start trying to move it, and get it unstuck. any help would be appriciated. thanks

I think that's it. kinda hard to tell from the pictures. I'd take a picture of mine, or look at mine but my engine is apart. There are two of em, on either side of the ACV. They have really small plungers sticking our em conected to some linkage. If that sounds like what you're showing then you've got em. I've heard of people breaking the linkage on the other side of them though so don't pressure them too much.

Make sure they aren't working by reving the engine while looking at em, I believe they should actuate doing this, although they might not since the engine isn't under load.

The general area you have circled seems to be where it is, like the guy above said, little hard to see though. It is more likely that the sleeves have frozen and not the actual actuators have locked up. Either is possible though.

Passenger side, look down, way down.
But seriously: if you look near the bottom of the engine on the passenger side, there are two of them. I think the first picture you have is the linkage for one of them. Its kinda hard to describe what they look like. Picture a triangle, with curves, and that might help some. If you did a search, post the thread you found the other pics in, that'll help too.
