activate 5+6 ports w/o cat hose

i checked your faq section and the links didn't work.

i am thinking of using a fish tank water bubbler to open my 6 ports.
normally it uses the pressure from the cat to open the ports, but since i have had my cat changed and it doesnt have that nipple thing i need to get a hose up to the acv.

the idea will work in theory. i will get a sensor that will activate the fish tank bubbler at 3750rpm and the bubbler will blo w air through a hose that will active the 6 ports.

to my knowledge to open the 6 ports the acv needs 3 or 4 psi to open the ports, but i am not sure, so if anyone knows that information it would be awesome.

also if anyone has heard of anyone else doing this and has found a link, that would be awesome as well.

thanks for the help

fish tank bublers only output like 2-3 psi total. Aux ports will need 4-5 each + VDI is another 4-5 if you're running an S5. Parastie's link to Kevin's site is a good place to start.

I've reworked the aux prot and VDI system on my S5 so that its completely electronic as you are trying to do. You need an air pump though that will put out around 8-10psi (for an s5, less for an s4) total to handle the activation of all three actuators (again, 3 on an s5, 2 on s4). If you're interested in my system let me know. It works, but the pump blew a couple weeks ago and I had to order another. Mounting it so close th the exhaust port's 1600degrees wasn't such a good idea.
