Smile Act street/racing clutch...HOlY $HYT

WOW JUST GOT MY ACT CLUTCH INSTALLED AND HOLY CRAP MAN!!!!

That clutch is so tight it's unbelievable. I haven't opened it up yet due to break in period.. But hell up to 4k it's total control. It took a little while to become adjusted to the new clutch, but I think I might adjust the pedal play a little. But I love it. Any opinions or suggestions hat I should take into consideration with this new clutch?

Take care not to rag on her just yet. Just drive like a normal human being for a short timeframe and all will be good. That clutch is pretty good you'll have ALOT of good miles out of her once she's broken in

My new ACT ss Clutch/X-treme Pressure Plate Is great. Pure grippage. I was just coming off another ACT Clutch. I found that I had to readjust my Clutch Pedal to accomadate my meticulousness.

I have it, and it can take some abuse. My stock clutch lasted about 4 launches after the streetport, and the ACT has seen many, many launches without fade. Plus the pedal effort hasnt changed much.

Im sorry, I believe everyone knew what I was saying. Some peoples clutches work ok until they get too hot, they start to slip. Thats what I was talking about, and how mine doesnt even do that.

Wheres the ANTI-sway bar guy at?

My next project is with a local guy around here. He says he can make me an aluminim drive shaft that wil be strong enough to handle the power and torque of our motors........we'll see........the saga continues...from a $700.00 rx7 to my completed dream ride.

How long are you supposed to break a clutch in for..? I installed my ACT two weeks ago. It's a daily driver. I hope thats enough time cause it feels good to me and I've beat it up real good last night.

You just dont beat on it or do launches, kinda like breaking in an engine just much shorter period of time.

BTW how much that clutch run you?

I got mine form Rotory Xecret for 320.00 shipped. They were the least expensive, plus after debating and research for almost a month and a half, the guys at RXecret help me decide what was best for my driving style. I rate those guys there a 10 on a scale of 1-10 as far as vendors are concerned. Plus RX7World fedex my flywheel to me NOT ENOUGH THANKS GOES TO ERNST...THANKS MAN
