Question Ack! Fuel Injector Harness and Exhaust Mani Q

Hi all,

Two questions.

First: Upon taking out my injectors to get them cleaned, I noticed this

A cable coming off of the top closest to the front bumber fuel injector harness. It was not attached to anything, but wires were left loose as if something was pulled off. What is it for?? Could it of caused problems? What should I do?

Question 2.
Putting back my exhaust manifold with that circular thing( it connects to a vaccum line in the back right?) and just wanted to make sure I put it back together ok. It was a capital B-!-T-C Pencil to get that friggin thing with the turbo out...but I regress.
Here is the photo of what I am talking about

Thanks alot for the help guys.

EDIT:
Also, what kinda shop should I take my waste gate to, for it to get ported?

The clip goes up there, there should be a connector.

Ok, figured it out! Its not off of the injector harness, its off of the harness that connects to the UIM.
I believe it is the O2 sensor, the crimp was a bad factor crimp, no biggy. Just gotta re-crimp the spade onto the wire.
And thanks for the twin scroll advice also!

yep, looks like the O2 sensor wire to me.

take the turbo to a turbo shop for the wastegate porting.

the canister is for your twin scroll, yes there is a steel metal vacuum line that bolts to it for it's vacuum source.

Thanks for the help man

Yea Wankler, I had some greesy *** hands...but I love Goop. That stuff takes it off in a matter of seconds!

Got another quick question that I thought I could plug into here instead of creating another thread.

Im going to do a FMIC ebay kit. I can pick up a Talon STI FMIC for free. Is it better than the stock TMIC? It would be for the time being with supporting mods of injectors cleaned, new grounds, 3inch exhaust, 3inch TID to CAI box & KN cone, boost controller, ported waste gate, FD fuel pump, and Koyo Radiator.
Anyone know anything about the Talon STI FMIC? I figured for free and if its better than stock then it would be well worth it. Then when I get my engine rebuilt and a stage four turbo, I would throw in a thicker FMIC. Opinions? Thanks guys.

would need dimensions. just about anything is better than the stock TMIC but too small of a front mount will hardly be worth the effort and may restrict too much air to the radiator in turn causing more trouble than your gains.
