Well, the previous owner has removed the components of the AWS.
Just knew I would get a smart *** comment from somebody.

i just blip the throttle to bring mine down to a reasonable rpm. personally, i think removal is a good idea. the only reason the system is there is to warm up the cats.

Leave it that way. You don't need it for anything, it's just extra wear on the engine.

It's just one little solenoid. Remove it. Plug lines. Job done. No write-up needed. This will be obvious as soon as you go and look at it.

What about the vac lines to and from the throttle body thermowax, the thermowax itself and the double throttle diaphragm?
