ac leaking into cab

so my ac leaks water into the cab of the car i've tried clearing out the tube that runs thru the firewall and drains the condensor of water. any ways when running the ac water still builds up inside the car instead of draining out. so has any body had any luck fixing the problem. thought about drilling out a hole lower than the one that the stock hose uses.

your tube is still clogged or it came off, drilling another hole is not the answer

If the tube is attached correctly, it is clogged by slime. Suck it clean with a shop vac.

my tube was clogged years ago, it leaked into the cabin as well.
Compressed air cleared it and I figured I would end up having to do more to it, but I never had to.

Compressed air will work and I have used it before. I had a VW scirocco in the '80's that clogged once every year or so. I would use a soccer ball pump on it. One pump!

My current theory is that the compressed air blows the blockage back into the evaporator drip tank, where potentially it can breed and grow more slime. Shop vac sucks the blockage out and away.

The difference is kinda like sniffing the snot up your nose vs. blowing it out.
