AC blows HOT

Hi Everyone!

Maybe I need more freon? The AC has been working great and was just replaced last year. Do you think maybe there's a chance that there is something stuck on the wiring? Like even though the ac is working, it's stuck on blowing out hot air?

Thanks for the help!

Okay, not to state the obvious, but first checK:

Is the belt broken?
Turn the A/C on. Does the clutch engage?

failing all that, have the freon level checked.

It is also possible that your logicon is on the fritz, and isn't moving the diverter inside the dash properly. If this is the case, it should blow hot all the time.

is your clock visible...sometimes when the idiot lights go haywire it triggers the fuse...if that fuse is blown..i think its the room fuse...it will make your ac blow hot air...thats what happened to my car when i first got it...the lady before me had taken it to a shop and the recipts stated that the ac was not working right...where is the freon going..thats wht the ticket said..so they never figured it out..buti eventually did..try checking the fuses...if that is the problem then what i did to fix it was to take out the idiot lights..which were dimming clock..sometimes the clock was on and sometimes it was dim and sometimes it was off..and sometimes the ac would pump hot air...after the fuse blew....i just resoldered the whole thing..andei have never had a problem since...
