Remove shifter rod from inside car. Drain tranny fluid. Then remove the exhaust. Remove 4 of the driveshaft bolts that goto the diff. Be sure to mark each bolt. Then pull out the driveshaft. There might be some more fluid spilling.

Then I think theres 5 bellhousing bolts to remove. Unhook clutch line, no need to remove slave cylinder. Remove the starter. Unplug tranny wiring. Then finally, remove the tranny mount bolts a little at a time. Get a jack under the tranny when you remove the last of the bolts and voila!

just unbolt the driveshaft from the diff. and it'll slide right outa the tranny. and disconnect the ground cable on top of the tranny and slave cyl. i'm sure you know there are 4 bolts that hold the tranny to the motor... one of them, the one on top, is a BITCH. and yes, i benched my tranny off, but be careful. and just tug it away from the motor and you're done.

i'm late for work, so that's all i can type for right now.

Sorry, the exhaust is in the way. Get a breaker bar and get ready to kick and screak, it'll come off

I'm in the middle of a clutch install right now, dropping the tranny out tonight (hopefully). There's a heat shield above the cat that I think has to come off, too.
