about the 4 to 5 lug conversion

Question about the 4 to 5 lug conversion

i was reading a write-up @ nopistons.com regarding the 5 lug conversion and i was wondering.. WOULD I REALLY NEED THE BRAKES??

another thing, if anyone else knows other links that has the information about 5 lug conversion, please link me up as well

i meant to say, would you need the brakes from the donor FC w/ the 5 lug conversion?? and also the shocks and spring combo?

The calipers have different mounting points. I found this out the hard way by purchasing calipers 3 times to get the right ones. The shocks and springs have nothing to do with it - you don't even need to remove them from the car to change the brake setup.

just take the whole spindle, its the easiest way to do it. Just take the whole spindle assembly with the rotor and caliper bolted to it

Yea sorry I assumed he was going to do that - when I got the stuff to do my swap, it was all together. I wanted new rotors and calipers to replace the old ones, and the guy at Napa was a little confused. So I ended up with all linds of wrong stuff the first time.
