I have a 95 Maxima SE 5 Speed. It's plenty fast, so don't underestimate them. And thats w/out the shot of nitrous. There are members on our forum that put down over 400 to the wheels. One has ran a 11.9. Yes he is heavily modded but he ran an 11.9. Thats good for a 3000 pound 4 door grocery getter. With intake and exhaust some 5 speeds are deep into the 14's. Nitrous....low to mid 13's. SC+Nitrous 11.9 to mid 12's. A friend of mine has a fairly modded FD (upgraded twins....power fc....FMIC...etc) and he is surprised how my car pulls. Im not saying that I can beat him, he is just surprised how my car pulls.

Im not flaming or starting anything Im going to get a TII when I get to New Mexico (getting stationed there).....mods are cheaper and its RWD. Ive got the rotary bug and a TII looks hella fun. So I figured I would come here and learn..........so I dont screw it up when I get it.

just thought id give my 02 shot.

And this fourum is sweet too. Set up very well. Lots of help to be found thats for sure......and thats without even asking.

Yes those are 300ZX wheels. You cant tell in the pic but I have the ZX TT front brakes as well. One of the easy mods we have.

I can buy pickup trucks that stock would beat a turbo II. It doesn't make the pickup truck a sports car =) If I came out with a super fast mini-van...you get my point.

Were getting way off topic here....

Someday..Nice looking ride. Are you running 225's on the z rims?

Lancers and WRX STi's are RALLY inspired cars. The JDM's have only 2 doors. Sure they are fast cars.....but their technology is also 15 years advanced. If you take an Renesis, a nice turbo, fmic, 1 bar of boost....a nice lsd.....put it in a FC body....it would blow the doors off both of those cars. Think about that. In 88 when the S5 TII came out, no other Japanese Import could compete at it's price level/
