It depends no which mods you choose, the quality of those mods, and how well the whole system is tuned (think synergy). Good modding will result in a negligible decrease in low-end power, with substantial gains on the top end.

there are only a number of things you can do to a N/A rx7 which are a free flowing air filter, header, highflow cat, free flowing exhaust, underdrive pully, porting the motor, and upgrading the fuel system a bit and some others, all of those will help the horse power tremendously over stock, but its nothing like a turbo 2.

Haha, yea we have LOADS of low end torque compared to anything our size. But when you size it up against others we are surely hurting w/out a turbo. Unless you go with the motorbikes that are the same size as us where we will shine . I believe that easily the most important mods on our cars is exhaust tuning. That big 'ol peri port in the side of the motor (intake uses side ports and exhaust uses peri ports incase you didn't know that just yet ) is just begging for some way to get that stuff out of the motor. Once you work on the intake and exhaust you'll notice a very different car with the rotary. Good luck with whatever you do.

I don't mean to be an idiot but why would you need to upgrade an N/a's fuel system? Unless he does something bigger than a large street port he won't need it. I have a friend on here with an S5 with a large street port and he told me he was still running rich. I agree with all your other advice except for the UD pullies which could impare out already weak electrical system and hurt your cooling system aswell.
