91 vert fuse ?'s

I just bought a 91 vert. But the headlights won't go up. I manually raised them last night. Its missing the cover to the fuse box, so I dont know which fuse or what size needs to be checked/replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It IS the one closest to the fender. It's a 30A fuse.

I just checked...and duh! Its missing that fuse!! I made sure tha ***** were both off/lowered, I then manually used the ***** underneath to lower the lights. I put a 30A fuse in and the lights pop right back up..WTF!? The **** for the headlights is off, and the one that pops them up is for them to be down....any ideas?

Have you tried just moving the **** a few times to see if they will go back down? Or did you already try that?

I tried it. No luck. Geez I hope the switch isn't broke and stuck in the "up" position.

considering how often those cluster switches go bad (esp. wiper) that sounds like the prob... obviously would take some serious testing to figure it out for sure, but it sounds like the previous owner figured out the same thing -- hence why the fuse was pulled.

For the time being just pull the fuse when it gets dark. Or you can try to turn the little **** above the headlight **** to see if it is in "clean me" mode. The little **** above the real headlight **** is just to raise the headlights for maintenance.

I appreciate all the help. I'll take it off < the **** > and clean it good. If that doesnt work, I'll have to see about buying a new switch.
