Good Tech info on FC's needed

I need some good, reliable info, as I might buy a N/A white, 1990 RX7, with 54,000 miles. Now some of my questions are as follows; How many miles car you get out of a NA rotary? I have heard of exhaust gases getting sucked into the intake ports, causing problems, how big of a problem is this? Are there any other problems/concerns/anything I should know about? Anything I should make sure of before I buy?

Thanks guys.

not unusual to see 200K miles out of a NA that has been maintained.

All cars suck exhaust gases into their intake since the mid 70's. Ever since EGR valves started beng used for emissons control.

But other than that, who ever told you it causes problems must have been smoking something themselves.

Problems have been well documented, in hundreds of posts, you may wish to use the search function up at the top right hand corner of this page, also Aaron Cake has a pretty good write up of what to look for on his personal web page.
