Personally, I wouldn't pay $3000 for an FC that doesn't run. I paid $2000 for mine in great condition with a blown engine, and I still feel like I paid too much sometimes.

I paid 4k for mine and its like it was when it rolled off the essembly line and has 98k original miles and runs like new. Id get him cheaper than 2k. Thats too much for a vert not running. If its truly like new then id offer at the most 1500 for it. but make sure you can locate a motor for it first so you know what the package deal is going to be

it's truly a beautiful vert: white with a black top, mtx speakers, no accidents, good leather, tires and vert wheels. blown apex. i want to put a turbo in it or at the very least a street port. the best of both worlds, responsible fun and speed. i don't know if he'll go lower than $2000.

No FC with a blown engine is worth more than $1500, no matter how nice it is, or perfect otherwise.
Simple math:
Perfect FC with blown engine = $1500
Engine rebuild with parts, shipping and your installation = $2000
= $3500
Without your installation of engine + $1000
= $4500
And figure those are the bare minumims, because it would be quite easy to see another $500 in parts like hoses, solenoids, broken parts, PD.
=$5000
so would you pay $5000 for a perfect today??? (not last year when so and so bought his perfect FC with 25K miles on it for $6k or $8k and got ripped off).
