i bought a 91 rx7 today and its not running right. Its a NA manual with a new motor and clutch. When you first crank it up it runs ok but not great does not respond to gas very well but after it heats up it runs like crap and does not hardly respond at all however at one point today however it ran great just like it should and i don't know why then all the sudden it when to crap. When it starts runing like crap the engine light comes on. I also have a 89 rx7 parts car with a auto trans and it is also a white vert however it is in bad shape.

here is my list of what i think it maybe tell me what you think

tps: because it does not respond to gas well

ecu: because it get worse when it warms up and goes to closed loop.

fuel pump: it might be going in and out causing my problem

fuel filter: just cause

bad injectors: would cause my problem i think

A little back ground on me: i have allot of cars but never a rotory and dont have that much experience with fuel injection most of my toys are carbed V-8. i bought the car so i could i have something different to play with.

 

reminds me of my fuel pump problem I had a month ago with my n/a
