91 N/A drives weird

i noticed this a couple day ago

i just started happening

wheneve i try to accelerate it, and i hit higher RPM's it stops accelertation and sort of stutters , it feels weird because its find untill i get to about 4500, and then it kind of stutters, it will acceletate, and then increase, in and then decrease, and its the worst from 6000-8000, its never done this before, if you watched the RPM gauge it goes up real fast and then slows down once his hits higher RPMs, i can feel it when i drive too, when i usally pull the harderst, its got no pull at all, i don't know whats up, i hope i did an OK job of describing the problem

thanks

check these-just my ideas, more out there I am sure of:

fuel filter
voltage going to fuel pump
fuel pump itself

Good starting point.

Also, have you had the 30 & 60K services done since you bought the car? How about fuel injector cleaning?

i haven't had any dealer service since i got the car, beside diagnostics and a new o2 sensor and tps ajustment, i bought the car at 88k now it has 93k,

when i get up to like 6k it will sometimes start to go again regualar for a second and then starts to stuggle to accelerate again.

i haven't had the injectors cleaned, it might even be the air filter, last time i didn't feel like changing my oil so i took to the place and they showed me my filter, it was dirty, but i didn't feel like buying one at the moment. so it might be there isn't enough clean air goin in. you think that might be it?

I had the 60K service, fuel injector, etc.. done when I bought the car for this exact reason. If something was goofy I knew the service, timing, and dirty fuel injectors wouldn't be the problem.

Do you know when the pervious owner had it done last?

Hesitation at higher RPMs can definitly be caused by timing, fuel delivery (hampered), or air intake problems (including dirty filters & cracked inlet ducts).

alright, i replaced the plugs, they were burnt up bad, it helped alot but the problem is still there, so im running some fuel injector cleaner in my gas, i'll fill it with premium and see what happens. i checked the filter and it looked alright, but i might replace it anyway.

the the motor was still hot like an hour after i shut it off, i didn't drive it for that long, but i was driving it hard cause of the rpm thing at high RPM's, and the new plugs got hot after i put them on, i hope they don't burn up

thanks
