if by "positive", you mean limited slip, then there were limited slip models produced in 1991.

By "true positive" do you clutch or torsen? The s5 LSD's are viscous.

s5 turbo models came with a viscous(sp?) LSD. thats it. no fc models came with a torsen lsd. so either...

1. you don't have an LSD
2. someone has done some parts swapping on your car before you bought it.

I'll post a video this weekend on both tires when I take off like a run.

I am the 2nd owner of this rx7. well 2nd and 4th, the other owner is the 1st and 3rd.
and she didn't even know there the air filter was. lol

she said the only things she put in it... was gas and a hole lot of oil. 1qt month. I tried to tell her y, she looked hot but lost..

like I said I read that, Madza said there was 0 coupe with lds for 91, but people say that black on black power windows/door locks, sun roof. witch I have all. some was lsd.

I am new to loving the 7's. thats y I sold it back to her. but when one jumped on my Camaro and killed me... it opened my eyes.

So a 91 Coupe with LSD Option had Viscious LSD? I always thought it was just the GTUs and S5 Turbo II that came with viscious? Heh

All i know is that some 91 Coupes were rumored to have come with LSD. Whether or not they were Viscious, Torsen, or Clutch I do not know.

Being able to spin both tires simultaniously means nothing. I had an open diff and it only ever spun one tire only when the front swaybar came undone and I had HUGE body roll at the autocross.

It doesn't matter what options your car came with in 91, that won't tell you if it has an LSD in it or not. There were two package models for the NA coupe in 91, A and B. However, the dealers could install any option from either package, so you could have a car with every option or no option, or any mix therein. So saying a car that had XX, with XX and XX with XY and YY has an LSD doesn't mean anything.

Furthermore no FC came with a torsen type LSD, however one could be swapped in from later model miatas. And all S5 LSD's, whether in the turbo or GTUs models were viscous type.

I ask for a reason,

if she is a rare car, I like to put her back to stock to retain the newness.
if she is like all the other 7's out there, then I'll rebuild and turn her into a duel turbo over the first winter she will see snow.

thats all
