91 jdm motor in my 87 TII

hey everyone i just bought a 91 jdm engine and i plan on putting it in my 87 TII. Is there anything i should know before i put it in? Like any mods that i should do or any upgrades i should do before putting the engine in the car?

compression test. did you get a warranty on it? its hard to say what the kids did to it over there. rebuilds are reccomened. give you room to port and polish

there's a lot more involved in installing an S5 engine in an S4 chassis...

Hope you are good at wiring and soldering..... The S5 and S4 harnesses are pretty different, as well as the ECU..... Good luck with that swap. It has been done but it isn't a peice of cake like a S4 to S4 swap.

well i didnt think that i had to do alot of wiring and soldering because i got the harness with the computer and engine... i got the whole thing..

mike i have a 88 n/a and imma put a s5 engine in it aswell with full harness and ecu so tell me how it turns out
