'91 Convertible Non-Turbo Manual - What to do?
Hey everyone. I haven't posted on here since I first inherited my father's '91 convertible back in December of 2012. The reason why I'm back on here is because I am thinking I should sell it. It's been a second car for me for 6 years, but I've changed careers where I can't afford a second car. I moved out of state, and poor Rex (her name) has been sitting in my Mom's garage for over a year, with my Mom running her for half an hour once a week to keep her going. The few times that I have been back to visit, I drive her around, but it really pains me to have this car not being run/cherished. I didn't think that I would ever sell her, which makes this all incredibly difficult for me.
Any thoughts/opinions regarding how I should go about this? Rex has ~45K original miles (I didn't get the exact number when I drove her at Thanksgiving, it might be 44,XXX), most of her service records, clean Florida title, etc. She used to be perfect, but is sadly no longer. She had a bicycle fall on the hood in the garage a couple of years ago (and has a couple of small dents on the hood now), plus the fuse has been pulled for the horn, because it would go off at random times. Should I try to get her all fixed up before selling? Would it be worth it?
I don't really know where to start, but I remembered joining this club when I first took ownership of her, and thought this would be a good place to get some advice.
Thank you in advance!

The car was on/being driven at the time.
Color combo is red body, black top.
My apologies for the long delay in response. I didn't receive any notification that I received any replies.
I was just down in Florida last week, and took her out for a drive.

i dont see the dents in the hood, a detail and a paintless dent guy might get that thing looking as good as new again, then I would ask $6500 for the car and see where it goes. Maybe if it cleans up good consider putting it on Bring a trailer with a reserve if you are nervous about the auction
see if this brings up past auctions with rx7 convertibles: https://bringatrailer.com/search/rx7+convertible/

It looks like a beautiful car and being red on black makes it more desirable. I agree with Rob's price assessment, even though it is in great shape it's not a collector vehicle or highly sought after. Bring a Trailer may yield the bets results.
