90 Vert Check engine light after oil pedestal oring replacemnt

I replaced my oil filter pedestal orings last spring. I got a check engine light immediatly after this. No codes are stored. The upon restart, the light comes on within 5-10 seconds.

Everything seems to run fine, oil pressure fine, passed emissions, fuel economy the same etc etc, etc.

I have not really worked on this since I have been doing bodywork/repaint this fall, but during the next week I should finish the project. I want to turn the light off.

I read a thread somewhere last summer regarding an easily dislodged sensor wire that can cause just this problem when changing out the oil pedestal orings. Now I cannot find the darn thread and I have searched extensively.

I have given a good visual check in the area and cannot find any detatched wires

Does anyone have any help for me?

Thanks,

Jack

When swapping the oil pedestal O-rings, did you disconnect any of the sensors? oil pressure sensor, oil level sensor, etc..?
