AL 90 Turbo II front bumper

so, someone backed into my front bumper on my turbo II. Damage is not bad, slight cracks in bumper and paint is all hazy/scratched...was going to try to buff out what I could...

However, my question is at some point if I want to get a new front bumper is it the same as the NA bumpers? I haven't been able to find anything about them being different between Turbo and NA so I assume they're the same but wanted to ask the professionals here

all the 89-91 Rx7's use the same bumper, the front is FC01-50-031, Mazda actually has them although you need to sit down to get the price...

Ah ok. That makes sense. I won't replace it immediately most likely but nice to know it will be easier than replacing most parts on this car...thanks

Some moron drove into our S5TII we purchased new, and when checking for parts it became an eye opening experience. A couple of weeks ago, there were only 2 new covers in the US (CA). The list is around $850 and even through Ray Crowe you're looking at $650 + shipping. Just to add there are no new left side doors anywhere in the US, same as side skirts, none in any color. I found a reconditioned Mazda front cover and purchased that, but looks like I've got to raid the '91 TII I have sitting in the pole shed for other parts. Really didn't want to touch the '91, but guess there's no other choice.
Good luck

I've had back luck with people hitting it. Back in December 2010 my friend hit the front left side fender. When I took it to a body shop they laughed saying that there were only 2 left in the entire US...so I considered myself lucky he hit it when he did.

i don't know the actual quality but there are aftermarket skins. rockauto lists them from various mfrs for less than $100 plus shipping.

edit: guess the S5 is NLA from them, the S4 is still available though...

one of the dumbest things i've ever bought was a full set of S5 T2 skirts, new. they come painted, so they are perfect, but find a car that you can justify putting them on!

They do look nice when installed on the car, but the cost if they were available is certainly redicuolous. At least I don't need any, have 3 complete pristine blaze red sets and 2 white side skirts.
