90 RX7...how can I tell if it has a LSD?

The rear end is on the floor in the garage.

a 90 RX7 n/a non-turbo

Now how do I tell if it's a limited slip rear end?

Thanks Earle

When you turn the half shaft the other half shaft will turn the same direction if it is LSD. If it's open when you turn the half shaft the other shaft will turn the opposite direction.

drop the clutch and if you leave 2 tire marks, its limited slip, just 1 wheel spins, that means you got the open diff.

fun little experiment if your not around a jack heh.

If it's not from a GTUs it would be very rare for it to be a LSD so most likely it is not. Do a search. This wil get you started as this thread was only started a few days ago.

He said the rearend was on the ground in his garage, very difficult to do a burn out in those conditions.
