I bought this 1990 Mazda RX-7 GLX.. Everything seems fine except the Tranny get hot as hell.. so Hot it comes thru the Shift and heats things up.. and I checked the Fuild, its fine.. but it sounds like whiney when in certain RPMs.. any thoughts? But it doesnt Grind any gears...

Could that have something to do with my Idle being wierd as well?

 

mine does that too, and does it in neutral. I'm pretty sure its normal i like the way it sound anyways lol. idle problem you might have to explain that.

 

My Idle varies.. like sometimes it will idle nice at 1050 - 1000 RPMS when warming up.. abnd a Nice stopping idle at like 850 - 900.. but when I stop if I dont give it a little gas it will sound like it will stall out and then climb to around 650 rpms and do it repativly over and over till i give it a little gas then it levels out at 900
