89' TII vs. 98' Integra GSR??

Both completely stock, both manual, who would win? Oh, dont forget that he's got a sticker on his car....that could decide the race

?? what are you insane?? the GSR can't even beat a two door ford zx2 .. unless your TII is WAY past it's prime or your turbo is biffed , you can walk all OVER the GSR..

I hung with one iin my 92 celica GT for a while, but my TII woulda stomped it even if it was stock.

Gutted cats and an intake will put a TII into low 14s. Nothing under 500 bucks will do that for the GSR except nitrous. I wouldnt worry about losing too much (assuming you can partly drive )

Maybe on drag radials. Or maybe my stock t2 was just unusually slow. Either way my old gsr with cai and tires actually felt a tiny bit faster than the tII when it was stock.

However you're right in that a 200 dollar dp will have you leaving the gsr waaaaaaaaaaay behind.

yep yep full exhaust on t2 will have you leaving that GSR big time!! lol the only thing to worry about imo is the swapped 92-95 and 96-00 hatchies... just put a b16 in my friends 96CX with intake bone stock everything else he pulled a 14.1 @ 96 or 98 not sure on that mph tho .... not to shabby imo

I have an 88 almost stock N/A and 2 friends one with a gsr integra and one with a crx with a gsr swap (havent raced the crx yet) a stock GSR integra is pretty quick it smoke the **** out of a zx2 and it barley beats me only when the V-tec kicks in, but a tII would most definantly beat a GSR

i beat a 94-95ish GSR last night, he seemed to have a apexi style muffler and alot of stickers and euro tails... hah. i have a lil work in mine, but a stock TII shouldnt have a problem. (well he wasnt a prob for me)

I give it to our 1.3 motors more than I give it to a 1.6 honda :P

What about a stock 99 Integra Type-R? How would a TII hold up against it?

My impression is that there isn't an Integra out there that can beat a TII.

My stock TII beat my friends stock 03 RSX Type S back when in March. Acura lists those at 200hp.

I guess you didn't see the thread on teamfc3s. On a road course, or 1/4 mile? Straight line stock for stock imo should go to the ITR. I've seen many, many ITR's throw down mid 14's bone stock. Most s4 t2's I see are low 15's, s5's tend to be a little bit faster but still high 14's. On a road course is where the ITR really lives for, I think it would be a very evenly matched competition stock for stock.

Stock for stock, it's all too dependent on driver's skill.&nbsp One small screw up and the opponent wins...

I've been driving my dads 1.8T jetta for a while, i learned manual before i got my permit on his geo prizm, then he got that car and i've been learning with that for about a year, i have it down pretty well, i drive everywhere when i'm with him, and on the turbo II i test drove, it was a lot easier than the jetta's clutch, as for the guy driving the integra, i think he has a year or less driving stick, but thats with his liscence, so he gets to practice quick starts and everything cause his dad isn't in the car with him, lol, i'd say its pretty even, he might be a bit better though, but not by a lot
