Question 89 rx7 13b stock - COMPRESSION

hey i am doing a compression check its just a stock 13b .. what is my compression supposed to be? i dont have the book on it right now...thanks for your help

what you're really looking for are 3 even bounces from each chamber. the actual compression number varies with the tester (+/- 20psi, round up all the testers in the shop, and test them on the same cylinder, they SUCK), cranking speed, how much fluid (gas lowers it, oil raises it) is in the engine, weather etc etc

T2 - ~110PSI

below 80 PSI is bad and you need to start planning on a rebuild.

my compression test gave me 90 psi on all plugs....but the engine was cold.

would i get a better or higher result if the engine was warmed up??

depends.. i got 115 warm on a t2 91

what should you start worrying about if its a consistant 90? am i due for a rebuild?
