ok sis is donating her beat up gtu to me b/c she cant turn it in when she gets her new car, so im planning on swping it from the auto it is and going 5 speed..my question is it even worth it?

im gonna need 5 speed ecu, clutch master cilinder..5spd brake and clutch peddals..trans and 5 speed drive shaft...anything else im mising?

im a prety experienced mechanic ive had a fd for 6 years now..just finished swapping engines, goin single and a haltech wire up

any idead of if its possible and anyone done it??..how hard...should i just say the hell with it and keep it auto...

I did it, and you bet your *** it's worth it! Who the hell would want an automatic FC!? It's not that expensive to do either, just the tranny, hydraulic lines, master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch, flywheel, counterweight I think needs to be removed on the automatic. PM hypntyz7, he'll hook you up with all you need and instructions.

you don't need to change the front counterweight, just use either a S5 flywheel or bolt a lightweight flywheel to the automatic's counterweight. might as well, you already have it
