Hello,

In the morning when I start the car, the rpm goes up to 3k then starts dropping to zero. The car shuts off. I resart the car again an it idles fine.

Anyone know what the problem could be???

I tried a search on the subject but did not find anything.

Does it run fine after this little episode? Have you tried tapping the gas pedal when the rpms jump to 3k?

 

It runs fine after i resart it.

I haven't tried tapping the gas.

On start-up the car used to idle @ 3k and gradually come down as the engine warmed up. That's what i want it to do again.

 

anyone have any other ideas?

Just tap on the gas and it should be fine.
