VA 88 Turbo II reverse light switch

Anyone have tips on removing this? What size is it? Any tools I can buy to make it easier. I don't really want to pull the transmission just for this switch. I have crawled under and tried messing it. I turned the back end of it with vice grip. Unfortunately this only turned the interior and not the whole switch. Any help is appreciated. I have broken a couple wires off as well messing with it now. I should have just left it unplugged. Can't see the light when its in reverse anyways. LMAO.

Well i removed the heat shield there for the exhaust and used a HUGE set of vice grips to remove.

The N/A reverse switch is slightly less than an inch. I would guess 22 mm. The TII switch is probable the same size. I just use an adjustable wrench to break mine loose than unscrew it by hand.

When dealing with a large size bolt/nut head, this is the way to go if you don't want to buy the proper wrench. Vice grips or pliers should be last resort.
