HELP!! Brake light switch on tranny, now no reverse light

Hello everyone,

i've just installed the 5th/reverse light switch on my transmission and wired them (as Icemark says) in no particular order.... now the reverse lights don't come on when i am in my reverse gear...

so as i say before, there is 2 red probes and 2 green clips on the 5th'/reverse switch, and there is a black probe(female) and red prob(female) and 2 clips (different color i forgot what they were) in the wiring of my car....

which goes with which?!

The two wires you needed to use are the ones that have continuity together when the tranny is in reverse. It doesn't matter between those two.

It does matter between the 5th gear switch wiring and the reverse switch wiring.
